Nike appoints Cheryan Jacob CIO

Nike designs, develops, markets, and sells athletic footwear, apparel, equipment, and accessories worldwide. Jacob had prior positions at Salesforce Inc., Microsoft, and Flexport Inc. He holds a BE from the National Institute of Technology Surat, and an MS from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Mondelēz International named Filippo Catalano CIDO

Mondelēz International is a snack company with brands such as Oreo, Ritz, LU, Clif Bar, and Tate’s Bake Shop biscuits and baked snacks, as well as Cadbury Dairy Milk, Milka and Toblerone chocolate.Catalano was most recently with Reckitt and held previous roles at Nestlé and Procter & Gamble. He holds an MS from Politecnico di Torino.

Keith Credendino named CIO of Macy’s, Inc.

Headquartered in New York City, Macy’s Inc. is an omnichannel retailer that operates department stores, websites, and mobile applications. Credendino joined Macy’s in 2022 most recently serving as SVP, technology product development, customer experience. He held prior roles at Inspire Brands, The Home Depot, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), and Cox Enterprises. He holds a BBA from University of Georgia – Terry College of Business, and an MBA from Georgia State University – J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

Kyndryl appoints Kim Basile as CIO

Kyndryl is an IT infrastructure services provider, based in NYC, serving thousands of enterprise customers in more than 60 countries. It designs, builds, manages and modernizes mission-critical information systems. Prior to joining Kyndryl, Basile had prior roles at Lockheed Martin, Leidos, and Vanguard.

Neeru Arora named CIO for Mazda North American Operations

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) is headquartered in Irvine, CA, and oversees the sales, marketing, parts, and customer service support of Mazda vehicles in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Colombia through approximately 795 dealers. Arora arrives at MNAO from Alliant Credit Union in Chicago. Prior to that, she held roles with Volkswagen Group of America and Volkswagen North America. She holds a BA from Loyola University of Chicago.

Dan Shull joins Hasbro as CDIO

Hasbro is a toy and game company with a portfolio of over 1,800 iconic brands including Dungeons & Dragons, Hasbro Gaming, Nerf, Transformers, and Play-Doh, as well as premier partner brands. Shull joins Hasbro from REI and prior to that, he held positions at Signet, Nike, and Borders. He earned a BS from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

REI Co-op promotes Guillaume Ledieu to CTO

REI is a specialty outdoor retailer, headquartered near Seattle. Ledieu joined the co-op in 2023 as VP of foundation technology. He had prior roles at McCormick & Company, Glatfelter, and Black & Decker.

Marco Deutsch named CIO at Baker McKenzie

Headquartered in Chicago, Baker McKenzie is an international law firm with offices in 46 countries. Deutsch joins Baker McKenzie from Fragomen and held prior roles at Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, and KPMG. He holds an MBA/Diplom-Kaufmann from the University of Passau in Germany.

Adolfo Rodriguez appointed CTIO at Guitar Center

With more than 300 stores across the US, Guitar Center is a retailer of musical instruments, lessons, repairs, and rentals. Before joining Guitar Center, Rodriguez most recently served at Advance Auto Parts, and held previous roles at Citrix and IBM. He holds a BS, MS, and PhD from Duke University.

Yeman Collier to join UChicago Medicine as CIO

The University of Chicago Medicine, with a history dating to 1927, is a non-profit academic medical health system based on the campus of the University of Chicago in Hyde Park, and with hospitals, outpatient clinics and physician practices throughout Chicago and its suburbs. Collier joins UChicago Medicine from UT Health San Antonio and held prior positions at City of Hope and OSF HealthCare. He holds a BS from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Subaru of America, Inc. appoints Aurelian Sin as CIO

Based in Camden, NJ, Subaru of America, Inc. markets and distributes Subaru vehicles, parts, and accessories through a network of more than 630 retailers across the US. Sin was most recently at Tenneco and had a prior position at Danone S.A. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in Romania. 

Alliant Credit Union welcomes Jamie Warder as CIO

Founded in 1935, Alliant Credit Unionis a national digital financial institution based in Chicago with over 800,000 members. Warder was most recently with KeyBank and had prior positions at USAA Bank, ING, Capital One, and PNC Bank. Before his banking career, Warder was an officer in the US Army. He earned a BS from the US Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. appoints Bhupesh Arora as CTO

Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. owns, manages, and develops commercial, residential, and mixed-use real estate throughout the US. Arora held previous positions at Magellan Midstream Partners, Avery Dennison, and Hyundai Information Technology. He earned a BE from Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering, Mumbai, India, and an MBA from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management.

Jamie Head joins Parts Town as CIO

Parts Town is a tech innovation-driven distributor of genuine OEM foodservice, residential appliance, and HVAC equipment repair parts. Head most recently served with Ocean Spray Cranberries and held prior positions at GSK and Mars, Inc.

Lloyd Boyd named CIO for Park Lawn Corporation

With headquarters in Houston, TX and Toronto, ON, Park Lawn Corporation is a funeral, cremation, and cemetery provider, and is the fastest growing company in the industry in North America. Boyd held prior roles at Brock Group and FloWorks International. He earned a BS from Liberty University.

Ryan McEnroe named CIO at Reed Smith

Reed Smith is a dynamic international law firm dedicated to helping clients move their businesses forward. McEnroe joined the firm in 2000 and before, he held multiple roles in public service and IT consulting. He earned a degree in computer science at Duquesne University.

Unison Risk Advisors appoints Tony Martinez as CIO

Unison Risk Advisors Inc., parent company for Baltimore-based RCM&D, Oswald Companies of Cleveland, and Miami-based NSI Insurance, is an independent insurance brokerage and risk management firm. Martinez had a prior role at HSBC and most recently with NFI.

Martina Schubert joins Van Meter Inc. as CIO

Based in Cedar Rapids, IA, Van Meter is a wholesale industrial and electrical supplier serving contractors, electricians, builders, and engineers. Schubert previously had roles at companies including Maytag, Walgreens, Blyth HomeScents, Grinnell Mutual, Continental Western Group, and DLL Financial Solutions. She was most recently with Coviance. She also holds a BA from Iowa State University and an MBA from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.

Atlas Van Lines promotes Ryan Parmenter to CIO

Atlas Van Lines, Inc., a national moving company, is the largest subsidiary of Atlas World Group, Inc. Atlas World Group companies employ nearly 800 people throughout North America. Parmenter joined in 2021 and most recently served as VP of IT. He earned a BA from Truman State University.
